Voyage to Prague

This is a small summary about my voyage to Prague (14th to 29th of March 20o2)

I will show it with pictures , so it will be easier for you to enjoy it

These are the first pictures I got developed - though they are not the first chronologically taken -still there are more - I hope to add them as soon as I get them developed.


LEFT : This is a main square where you can find many different small shops selling all and every  thing and kind of objects   you need
They where preparing the square  for Easter , decorating the trees with ribbons of different colors and artificial flowers for the tourists, it was full of them



RIGHT :  This is a pedestrian bridge called Charles IV  bridge 

Charles IV was the Emperor of the holy Roman Empire and king of Czechoslovakia and Bohemia 

You can see  a music band playing some melodies that goes with the scenery .


 

 


Right : is the Saint Vitus cathedral it is very beautiful as u can see


 Same bridge as above with a painter faking that he is painting the big gate of the bridge .

I must confess it was a good painting .

 

 This is the big Gate at the beginning of the bridge - It was very cold during the trip , the temperature was as low as 5 degrees Centigrade. 

We had dinner in a very nice restaurant that have a big reputation-not only for its location on the shores of the river Vltava the Main river of Prague - But also primarily thanks to its atmosphere and the quality of its cuisine.
This restaurant is visited by many celebrities

See how nice the houses are all with last century architectures

This is a main street in Prague like Champ elysee in Paris
In the background is a museum for minirals and fossils

Nice Camera shot I took - I am a good photographer after all ... this picture can win an academy award

 

This is a nice lantern in a small square in Prague . We had similar ones in Egypt but ....

This is a kind of hotel front that I found in Carlovy Vary city - the famous city where people ( females mostly ) goes to make a kind of treatment to loose weight and become younger .

 

This is still Karlovy Vary city .. taking a walk I found those stairs  - Also you can see that the architecture of the houses are that from different centuries and styles .. 

Did you notice that the kiosk in the above picture part of it is shown in this picture  ..Yes the stairs are just to the left of it .???

 

On our way to karlovy Vary , we stopped in a crystal factory - called  " Moser " - Very beautiful also very expensive crystals  

Here you can see the Master blower trying to shape a big piece still in flames 

 

Here is the  " Moser "  crystal exhibition - obviously it is full of all kinds of crystals 

some of the pieces were as expensive as two to four thousand dollars ... 

At the end of the room u can see a young lady making some etching designs on a crystal glass . 

 

You can have a close up of the young artist girl working on a crystal cup doing some etching ..I only hope that   while taking this picture I did not  make her nervous ...

We have visited the Opera to watch the play of Don Giovanni of Mozart it was in the state Opera of prague
